Prime Tails opened in May 2026 on Rua Marquês de Pombal, in the old centre of Oeiras. Three young vets, with years at other clinics and referral hospitals behind them, wanted to be the vet of the neighbourhood: close, with time, with empathy.
The space was designed not to feel like a clinic — big windows, retro furniture, a spa you can see from the street — because a pet that walks in calm is a pet that can be examined properly.
Before the doors even opened, a client brought them a book, as a sign of support. It set the tone: this is a place people come back to.
